We are well on our way into recording our 3rd record, The Unreal And The Hyperreal Happening At Once. The title comes from a Stephen Colbert interview on Marc Maron’s WTF podcast. Happy day after Thanksgiving! I am grateful for you and I hope that you are able to find some time for gratitude in the midst of these crazy times we are living in.

The new Spoken in Tongues full length album is available now on Bandcamp for purchase or streaming at spokenintongues.bandcamp.com. It is also available for streaming on Apple, Spotify, YouTube, etc.

All Spoken in Tongues shirts, CD’s and vinyl are on sale for 30% off for the next 2 weeks at the Planet Fun store. The discount is automatic.

This record is the 2nd of trilogy (The Unreal And The Hyperreal Happening At Once is coming next year). The bulk of this record was recorded last year when I was still living in New Jersey and working in New York while finishing college. It was a strange time. The cover was shot under the train in Brooklyn, just north of Coney Island.

I performed all the instruments and vocals except for drums, which were played by Mr. Chris Wible. All the songs were recorded, mixed and mastered by me at Planet Fun studios. There are additional vocals by Mark Salomon (Stavesacre, White Lighter) on The Second Line and Jamie Hilsden (Man Alive, Miqedem) on Ceiling Feeling.

It’s been a minute since we’ve all began swimming through these crazy apocalyptic times. Wherever you are, we hope you can be kind to yourself. Getting through this all is tough enough. Anyway, like many of our peers the recording of the drums for our upcoming releases was delayed due to the pandemic. But hopefully we’re going to get them done here soon.
